Brian McDonald, and today, the San Francisco forty nine ers
have announced that wide receiver Brandon Ayuk has agreed to
terms on a four year extension with the team. This
is big for Brandon Ayuk. This is big for the team,

the offense, the fan base, to CBA in the Red
and Gold in the foreseeable future. Brandon Ayuk is coming
off a season in which he recorded a career high
one thousand, three hundred and forty two receiving yards to
go with seventy five receptions and seven touchdowns. The twenty
twenty three season was his second straight one thousand yard campaign.

Twenty twenty three was really Ayuk's breakout season. He led
the Niners in receiving yards while finishing first in the
NFL in yards per target an average of twelve point
nine yards, second in yards per reception and average of
seventeen point nine yards, and ninth in receiving yards per
game an average of eighty three point nine yards, all

on his way to a second team All Pro nod
so again, Ayuk's extension has a huge impact on San
Francisco's receiving corps, working alongside Deebo Samuel Senior, Juwan Jennings,
Chris Conley, and Ronnie Bell, with rookies like first round
draft pick Ricky Piersoll and fourth round draft pick Jacob
Cowing developing within the group. Now looking back on Brandon

Ayuk's career in San Francisco, the wideout was drafted by
the forty nine ers in the first round twenty fifth
overall in the twenty twenty NFL Draft. Since being drafted,
Auk has started in sixty games and has made two
hundred and sixty nine receptions for three thousand, nine hundred
and thirty one yards and twenty five touchdowns. In the postseason,

Ayuk has started in all nine games he appeared in,
recording a total of three hundred and ninety three receiving
yards in his career playoff games, including Super Bowl fifty eight.
