Welcome to the New Year. The ball dropped in New
York City's Times Square at the stroke of midnight, ushering

Resident Trump, as he's done for years, is spending the
holiday at his Mar A Lago resort in Florida. Asked
about any residents for the New Year, the President said,
peace on Earth. Dozens are feared dead after an explosion
ripped through a crowded New Year's Eve party at an
alpine ski resort in Switzerland. Please say there was an
explosion at around one thirty am local time at a

lounge bar popular with tourists in the mountains east of Geneva,
and that it triggered a fire that spread through the bar.
Swiss media says over one hundred people were at the
