are closing higher after a shoppy session to start the week.
On Wall Street, Kristen Marx reports.

Tech stocks bounced as investors shared President Trump's exemption of
smartphones and computers, along with other electronic devices from reciprocal tariffs.
Apple shares rose four percent on the news, while Dell
gained more than three percent. At the closing bell, the
Dow Jones Industrial Average gained three hundred and twelve points,
the S and P five hundred rows forty two points.

The Nasdaq climbed one hundred and seven points.

People in the San Diego area are dealing with the
aftermath of a five point two earthquake. The USGS says
it struck at ten oh eight am local time northeast
of San Diego in the city of Julian. Authorities say
there are reports of minor damage but no injuries. The
president of l Salvador says he's not going to return

and a mistakenly deported man back to the US. Naive
bu Kelly told reporters he would not return a man.
The Justice Department said it mistakenly deported to his country
while sitting next to President Trump in the Oval Office. Today,
former President Biden is said to make his first public

old Biden is one of the keynote speakers at the Advocates,
Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled conference. President Trump says
today is a proud day as he honors the Buckeyes
for winning the National championship. But today is my great

the Ohio State University. Speaking at the White House, Trump
highlighted the Buckeyes path to the title end said he
expects to see quarterback Will Howard play in the NFL
for years. Vice President Vance, who's from Ohio, joked that
he he asked the President if he could skip an

The tour company that operated the helicopter that crashed into
the Hudson River last Thursday, killing six people, is out
of business. The news came hours after New York Senator
Chuck Schumer called on the FAA to suspend the license
of the company called New York Helicopter Tours. President Trump
is calling on the FCC chair to give substantial penalties

According to the Huffington Post, the President is furious over
the sixty minute Sunday broadcast about greenlanders opposition to becoming
part of the US and the failed immediate promise to
end the Ukrainian War. Trump is urging FCC Chair Brendan
Carr to issue the network maximum fines and punishment and
it should have their license revoked. The network doesn't have

California Governor Gavin Newsom says the popular Pacific Coast Highway,
closed since the January fires, will open in time for summer.
Tammy Trehillo reports.

Announced over the weekend the highway is expected to reopen
by the end of May, ahead of schedule. PCCh has
been closed since January, with only Pacific Palisades residents, repair
crews and essential business employees allowed to use it. CRUs
are working to clear toxic debris, fix the roadway, and
demolish collapsed homes. When it reopens, only one lane will
be open for public travel in either direction, and it's

not clear when the rest of Pacific Coast Highway will reopen.

Green Day's Saturday Coachella set went out with a bang,
which was unfortunate for the crowd. During the end of
their Saturday performance, a rogue firework shot into the crowd
of people and set a palm tree on fire. Video
of the fireworks display mishap hit X and shows the
rogue firework heading for the crowd and exploding on landing.
