national poll shows another drop in President Trump's approval rating,
just shy of his first one hundred days in office.
The NBC News Stay Tuned poll found fifty five percent
of Americans disapprove of how Trump has handled the presidency,

while forty five percent approve. On immigration, one of his
strongest issues during the twenty twenty four election, the poll
found just over half disapprove of its policies, while over
forty nine percent approve. Meantime, the economy proved to be
his weakest issue, with only thirty nine percent satisfied with
his economic agenda and sixty one percent voicing their opposition. Overall,
sixty percent of those surveyed said they believe the US

is on the wrong track, while forty percent say it's
on the right one. Police in Canada now say eleven
people have died after a car plowed into a crowded
street festival in Vancouver last night. Vancouver Deputy Police Chief
Steve Raie says the thirty year old suspected driver is
being held pending char arges in the case.

Investigators say dozens of people were also seriously injured when
a black suv drove into a pack celebration at a
Filipino block party today. Authority said survivors were taken to
nine different hospitals in Vancouver for treatment, some of them
in critical condition. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says a
peace deal between Russia and Ukraine needs to happen soon.
He told NBC's Meet the Press that the US may

decide this week whether it'll continue to be involved in
the peace process. He went on to say President Trump
has helped bring the two sides closer than they have
been in years to a deal, but there's still ways
to go. Rubio said the US is reluctant to impose
sanctions or other consequences on the parties involved because it
could jeopardize a deal. The Vaticans says more than twenty

thousand people have visited the tomb of Pope Francis as
of Sunday evening. The first photos of his final resting
place at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major was released
this morning as the tomb was open to the public.

I'm Chris Caragio. A person in Greenville County, South Carolina,
is facing charges after a traffic stop led to the
discovery of drugs in unique packaging. The Greenville County Sheriff's

office said a car pulled over on Buncom Road last
week and had nearly four pounds of THHC, more than
two hundred and sixteen grams of marijuana, and a half
gram of meth. A photo of the drugs shows them
packaged like cookies and candy. Birth rates in the US
are at a near record low. New data released by
the CDC says about three point six million babies were

born in the US last year. That's a one percent
increase from twenty twenty three, which saw an all time
low birth rate in the US. The Trump administration has
been considering new policies to encourage women to have more babies,
including giving five thousand dollars in cash to each woman
who gives birth. When asked about it by reporters last week,
President Trump said the proposal sounded like a good idea

to him. A proposed expansion of a megachurch in Corona, California,
is drawing the ire of some residents. Living Truth Christian
Fellowship is planning a two story, fifty five thousand square
foot building on a quiet, two lane home lined rural
road in Norco. The plan includes a two hundred vehicle
parking lot and an overflow parking area. Residents are angry
because the Hillside Avenue neighborhood is residential and zone for agriculture.

Some residents say the property values have already gone down
and will plummet further because nobody will want to buy
near a megachurch. Religious Freedom, though in the municipal code,
allows a church to be built wherever it wants with
a conditional use permit. There's a public meeting next month.
A new electric vehicle startup backed by Amazon founder Jeff
Bezos is headed to the market. Slate Auto, headquartered in Michigan,

made its debut Thursday night at a design studio in
Long Beach, California, promising electric trucks for under twenty thousand
dollars with a federal tax credit. The trucks are rather
low tech when it comes to amenities compared to competitors,
with manual windows and no informational screen. It's expected to
