Vice President Vance says that National Security Advisor Mike Waltz
isn't being fired from his position. Van spoke Thursday on
Fox News, where he said the decision for Waltz to
leave his position is in fact a promotion, as President
Trump has nominated him to become the US ambassador to
the United Nations. Waltz faced scrutiny for mistakenly adding a

reporter to a signal group chat that discussed plans for
a military strike. The Trump administration wants the Supreme Court
to revoke legal protections for some Venezuelan immigrants. A judge
in California had blocked the White House's move to remove
the migrants protected status. Now President Trump wants the High
Court to decide if they can reverse a decision made

during the end of the Biden administration that offered the
protections under a federal temporary protected status program. The start
of the Atlantic hurricane season is just one month away.

The latest models are predicting a slightly above average season,
with seventeen named storms, nine hurricanes, and four major hurricanes.

Russell Brand is set to appear in a London courtroom
Friday on rape and sexual assault charges. The English actor
and comedian is facing accusation from four women for alleged
crimes that happened between nineteen ninety nine and two thousand

charges against Weezer wife Jillian Schreiner. The wife of Weezer

Bassis Scott Schreiner made her first courtroom appearance Wednesday in
downtown Los Angeles. Schriner was shot on April eighth after
allegedly firing a gun at Los Angeles police officers who
were searching for three hit and run suspects near her home.
The US Department of Education has started an investigation into
Washington State's gender inclusive policies. Brad Ford reports.

Both of the measures were advisory votes only, and if
pass would not have been implemented. One proposal would have
limited girls' sports participation to biological females only. The other
proposal would have created separate athletic programs for boys girls
in an open division for all students. Both measures needed
over sixty percent member support to pass.

Streets were shut down to traffic, and one train service

Connabaro Lucas died Wednesday in Brazil. Her death was announced

world's oldest person now passes englishwoman Ethel Catherham, aged one
