anti ice demonstrations are expected in Los Angeles today after
organizers called for a third day of protests. President Trump's
Saturday thanked the National Guard for a job well done
in quelling the anti ice protests that have been happening

Bass says the Guard has not been deployed in the city.
At least five people are in custody after immigration protests
in New York City. Dozens demonstrated at Federal Plaza in
Manhattan Saturday to protest ICE raids in that city. Reports
say some tried to block an unmarked van leaving the

area where a US Immigration court building is located. Elsewhere
in New York, nearly two dozen people are recovering after
a fire on their boat forced them to jump into
the Long Island Sound. Officials say it happened last night
in the Bronx near Hart Island. Responders pulled three people
out of the water, one victim listed in critical condition.

Nineteen others were able to swim to Hart Island, where
our rescue boat came to get them. Reports say the
operator of the boat was taken into custody, though there's
no word on charges or what caused the fire. President
Trump received a warm welcome from fight fans last night

The FDA says it's launched a new AI tool designed
to help employees work more efficiently. The agency says the tool,
called ELSA, modernize as agency functions and leverages AI capabilities
to serve the American people better. I'm Scott Carr. The
number of measles cases is nearing a thirty year high

in the US. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
now reports over eleven hundred confirmed cases of measles across
thirty three states. They say this year's rates on track
to exceed the over twelve hundred cases seen in twenty nineteen.
Health officials say ninety five percent of this year's confirmed
cases are and those who are unvaccinated or their vaccination

status is unknown. President Trump's Doze team is being given
access to sensitive Social Security data by the Supreme Court.

The High Court lifted the order blocking the Social Security
Administration from granting Doze access to the information. This marks
a win for the Trump administration. DOGE will now have
access to the sensitive information of millions of Americans, as

Both Flex is recalling millions of its suggestible dumbbells because
they say weight plates can come loose and cause injuries.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the recall follows over
one hundred reports of injuries, including concussions and abrasions, and
that over three million units are being recalled. Both Flex
filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by Johnson Healthtech, which
