The suspect accused in the fatal shooting of the former
Democratic Minnesota Speaker of the House and her husband remains
at large. Iva Basseinger has more.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Fifty seven year old Vance Bolter is accused of posing
as a police officer when he fatally shot Minnesota State
Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband. Bolter is also accused
of seriously injuring State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
in a separate, politically motivated shooting.

members of Congress, for members of the legislator, just because
all of us has experienced threats, and especially escalating threats
over the last few years.

President Trump has called the shootings absolutely terrible. No King's
Day protests are happening across the un US in opposition
to President Trump's military parade, which is happening today. The
parade is celebrating the country's two hundred and fiftieth birthday.
It's also Flag Day in President Trump's seventy ninth birthday.
The massive parade as tanks rolling down the streets in Washington, DC.

Recent polls show many are opposed to the parade. One
of the organizers is calling it the largest single day
peaceful protest in recent American history, made up of normal,
everyday Americans who are showing up to say we don't
do kings in America. Protests have been seen in New
York City, Philadelphia outside the White House, and Los Angeles
and in LA Police are using flashbangs to push protesters

away from the National Guard. The National Guard has been
seen pushing protesters off the steps of a federal building
they're protecting. President Trump says he and Russian President Vladimir
Putin talked at length today about the airstrikes between Israel
and Iran. Trump posted on social media he feels, as
do I, this war in Israel and Iran should end.

Trump added that he took well Putin his war should

The Northern Lights are returning this weekend. The National Oceanic
and Atmosphere Administration says the Aurora Borealis will be shimmering
across the northern US tonight because of a geomagnetic storm,

The colorful light display should be visible from Idaho to
New York and is most likely to appear after ten PM.
A massive great white shark is lurking in the waters
off the North Carolina coast. The nonprofit organization OSEARCH says
the nearly fourteen foot long great white named Contender, was

tagged earlier this year off the coast of Florida and
is said to be the largest great white ever documented
by researchers in the Atlantic. Contender's last known tracking was
near Pamlico Sound off of Hatteras Island. Contender is believed
to be about thirty years old and weighs more than
