doesn't think Europe can bring an end to the Iran
Israeli conflict. Speaking from New Jersey today, he threw cold
water on the meeting between Iran's foreign minister and top
diplomats from Britain, France, and Germany that took place today

in Geneva. Trump said yesterday that he'll give negotiations a
chance and decide within two weeks if the US will
enter the conflict. An early summer heat wave is impacting
more than two hundred million Americans. Extreme heat watches, warnings,
and advisories were in effect Friday for parts of the Southwest, Rockies,
planes upper Midwest, and Northeast. The Supreme Court has turned
down a request to expedite a challenge to White House tariffs.

The decision gives the Trump administration a thirty day window
to file a response to the challenge, which came from
two toymakers. The companies argue the International Emergency Economic Powers
Act doesn't give President Trump the authority to place duties
on products from China. Harvard can enroll international students for now.

Federal judge granted a preliminary injunction that halts the Trump
administration's withdrawal of the university's ability to host the students.
The injunction prevents the White House's revocation of the school's
Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification until the judge makes
a decision on a lawsuit brought by Harvard. However, the
judge didn't address Trump's entry ban on holders of Harvard
sponsored visas.

A federal judge's ordering the release of Columbia University student
Macmood Khalil on bail. He's been detained for three months
after the White House said he's an anti Semitic Hamas
supporter who should be deported over pro Palestinian protests. The
judge previously ruled Kalil's detention is not justified by a
foreign policy law used to detain him. Barry Morphew is
once again being charged with the murder of his wife.

Officials announced today that a grand jury in Colorado has
indicted him for first degree murder. Suzanne Morphew went missing
on Mother's Day twenty twenty, and to remains were found
more than three years later. Barrymorefew had previously been charged
after his wife's disappearance, but those charges were dropped before
her remains were discovered. He was taken into custody today
in Arizona. He awaits extradition to Colorado. I'm Chris Cragio.

A young girl is speaking about her ordeal after surviving
a shark attack off Florida's southwest coast. Nine year old
Leah Lendel was snorkeling near Boca Grande last week when
a shark bit her, nearly severing her hand. She was
airlifted to Tampa General Hospital, where surgeons performed a complex
operation to save and reattach the hand. Lea's family and
