in Sean Diddycombe's case are asking for a lot less
prison time for the rap mogul. The New York jury
found him guilty of transporting people for prostitution, but not
guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering, so he could be

released on bond today until sentencing. Prosecutors told the judge
the sentencing guidelines range from fifty one to sixty three months,
much less than the twenty years they were seeking. Right
after the verdict was read, There's a lot of GOP
arm twisting going on in the House as it works
to advance President Trump's massive spending bill. The bill squeaked
by the Senate yesterday, with Vice President Vance forced to

cast the tie breaking vote. Today, House Speaker Mike Johnson
is getting through procedural issues as he tries to wrangle
Republicans angry about the spending increase the Senate put into
the measure. House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries is calling on
Republican lawmakers to vote against the megabill. He invoked late
Senator John McCain during his appeal to lawmakers.

The minority leader was referring to McCain's decisive vote against

four University of Idahos students in a Boise courtroom today.
He sat motionless while accepting a plea deal that takes
the death penalty off the table for the twenty twenty
two murders. He only spoke single words yes and no

life sentence without the possibility of parole. Family of the
victims were in attendance today. Microsoft is laying off thousands
of employees in its latest round of cuts. The move
is expected to impact less than four percent of its
global workforce across different teams. The software company has held
several rounds of layoffs already this year, including in May
