increase production in the US. According reports from Bloomberg, copper
futures jumped as much as seventeen percent. Trump announced plans
to levy tariffs on the metal. Trump has put other
tariffs on industry specific goods, including a fifty percent tariff
and steel and aluminum that went into effect last month.
