Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is your twenty four to seven use update, the
latest use this hour. In just four minutes, President Trump
will be placing a one hundred percent tariff on Russia
if there's no peace deal soon. In Ukraine, we're going
to be dealing.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Very severe tariffs if we don't have a deal in
fifty days.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
While meeting today with NATO Secretary General Mark Ruda, Trump
also announced a new deal to sell top of the
line weaponry to NATO, including defensive patriot missiles meant for
distribution in Ukraine. Trump had been blaming both sides for
the continued war, but lately has been putting most of
it on Putin, adding that he thought he had a
deal in place about four times. Three people are dead

(00:42):
and three more are injured following a series of shootings
in Lexington, Kentucky. NBC's Emeliakda reports that it started when
a man shot at Kentucky State Police trooper at Bluegrass
Airport yesterday morning.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
The suspect then stole a car, police say, tracking that
vehicle to the Richmond Road Baptist church with the gunman
had opened fire, shooting four people, according to authorities, too fatally.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Authority say police officers then shot and killed the suspected gunman,
who has now been identified as Guy House. The trooper
and the two men who were shot at the church
are hospitalized. Police believe House had a connection to the
people at the church. Former President Obama is calling on
Democrats to toughen up. The former president's comments came during
a private fundraising event held in New Jersey on Friday.

(01:27):
During his speech, Obama said, don't tell me you're a Democrat,
but you're kind of disappointed right now, so you're not
doing anything. Now is exactly the time that you should
get in there and do something. And the dispute between
the Trump administration and California Governor Gavin Newsom is showing
no signs of cooling down. Vice President Advance and Newsom
exchanged comments over the weekend after Vance took a trip

(01:48):
to Disneyland with his family. Newsom responded to a video
of the Vice president in Disneyland and wrote, hope you
enjoy your family time at JD.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Vance.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
The families you're tearing apart certainly won't. Vans brushed up
off the comment and responded, had a great time. Thanks.
I'm Chris Kroncio. A man is accused of breaking Florida's
new super Speeder law in Brevard County. The Sheriff's office
announced that Ryan Samoya was arrested Saturday for riding his
motorcycle over one hundred miles an hour and a forty

(02:18):
five zone. He's also accused of driving with a suspended license.
The super Speeder law took effect on July first. Anybody
driving over one hundred miles an hour or fifty miles
an hour over the speed limit could get up to
thirty days in jail. Twelve individuals and two teams were
inducted into the Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame Saturday night.
During a ceremony in Colorado Springs. Anita de France, one

(02:39):
of the newest Hall of famers and nineteen seventy six
bronze medalist in women's rowing, says this induction means they're
all part of one team.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Today't easy being a US Olympic team member, our Paralympic
team member, Cassie athletes all no. But once you're there,
you realize that everybody has their own story and if
you listen you can learn a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
This year's class includes standout athletes like Gabby Douglas, Sallas
and Felix, Phil Douglas and Serena Williams. The event celebrated
their remarkable careers and highlighted their impact on both their
sports and the wider community. The Hall of Fame honors
athletes who have inspired future generations through excellence and dedication.
Singer actress Coco Jones and NBA star Donovan Mitchell are

(03:21):
engaged Friday. The couple took to social media to announce
their engagement, sharing photos and videos from the moment Mitchell
got down on one knee. News of the pair's engagement
surprised many fans, as Jones and Mitchell have kept the
details of their relationship out of the public eye. In
a statement to People, a representative for the couple confirmed
that Mitchell proposed to Jones while they were on vacation

(03:42):
after two years of dating. The Best Looking Cruiser award
goes to Florida Highway Patrol in Tampa. The agency is
the first to have won three times in a row
by the twenty twenty five America's Best Looking Cruiser contest.
The photo features its Corvette Cruiser settled in front of
the Miami sunset. The Corvette was in a drug trafficking case.

(04:02):
I'm Chris Caragio.
