and flash flooding in the East Coast has claimed the
lives of two people. The two were killed in New
Jersey after their car was swept away by high waters.
The storm system yesterday sent floodwaters rushing through New York

today in Pittsburgh. The event at Carnegie Mellon University is
billed as a gathering of top leaders in energy and
AI alongside the biggest global investors for the purposes of
planning how to advance the president's energy agenda. A number
of Trump Cabinet and government officials are also expected to attend.

The Senate is on track to vote on a package
cutting approximately nine point four billion dollars in congressionally approved spending.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune made the announcement shortly after
securing a key vote from Senator Mike Rounds. According to Thune,
the vote is on track for today to discharge the
recissions package out of the Appropriations Committee and then proceed
to the floor. Some university leaders are being grilled by

Congress again today about the growing issue of antisemitism on campuses.
You see Berkeley Chancellor rich Lyons talked about balancing freedom
of speech with protection from hate speech. This is frustrating.
People say, well, just drive down the middle of the road.
This is a very complex road to drive down. In
today's House hearing, he was questioned about the social media

postings of several professors who expressed support for a terror
attack on Israel. They're hiring practices, he says, are based
on academics and not politics. Today's hearing on antisemitism was
the ninth in the last eighteen months on Capitol Hill.
Several people are recovering after a trained passenger caused a
stampede following Beyonce's show in Atlanta last night. Nine people

were injured at the Vine City Marta station after the
concert at Mercedes Benz Stadium. According to Marta police, the
incident was triggered by a person screaming and running, causing
a stampede on an escalator that suddenly sped up and stopped.
I'm Chris Garragio, an iowa's sheriff's deputy had an unusual
road siding counter. Last week, The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office

shared a photo on social media of Deputy Ethan Krieger
writing a report with a lama standing next to him.
The deputy was originally dispatched to assist a motorist when
he came across the animal. The department joked in its
post about the lama drama its deputies have to deal with.
A massive leatherback turtle is back to living its best
life thanks to some rescuers in Massachusetts. Members of the

Center for Coastal Studies Marine Animal Entanglement Response Team were
called to Cape Cod Bay last week after a five
hundred pound turtle got entangled and fishing gear and was
having trouble surfacing for air. The team was able to
address some minor injuries before cutting the turtle free. Leatherbacks
are the largest of all living turtles and can grow
nearly nine feet long and weigh more than eleven hundred pounds.

The biggest chunk of mars ever found on Earth will
go the highest bidder at a New York City auction tomorrow.

The Martian Media Right will hit the Sotha Bee's auction
block with a sky high opening bid of one point
six million dollars. It's a fifty four pounder found in
the Sahara Desert back in twenty twenty three. It's expected
to fetch big bucks because it's more than twice the
size of any other known Martian mediaite found on Earth.
Sotha Bee says it has a reddish brown fusion crust,

Hugh Britney Spears may have announced on Instagram that she
adopted a beautiful baby girl, but multiple news outlets are
reporting it's not true. She uploaded a video of herself
dancing on Sunday and said the new baby's new name

is Lennon London. Spears she didn't stop there, also claiming
she's moving to Italy. Reports say that doesn't appear to
be the case. Spears has two teenage sons with ex
