Senate Republicans are voting to slash funding for public broadcasting,
global health, and foreign aid, is part of a nine
billion dollar rollback in previously approved spending. The package, passed
early this morning includes cuts to NPR, PBS, the World
Health Organization, and USAID. It's tied to the Department of
Government Deficiency once led by Elon Musk. Senate Minority Leader

Chuck Schumer said, there's been fake outrage from the Republicans.

Shin speak louder than words. It does no good to
express concern about legislation only to vote yes in the end. Again,
we were not sent here by the voters to rubber
stamp whatever Donald Trump wants.

The measure now heads to the House before potentially landing
on President Trump's desk for final approval. President Trump, who
for years had supporters demanding the release of the client
list of his former friend Jeffrey Epstein, is now calling
the entire thing a hoax perpetrated by Democrats. More from

President Trump posted a long and scathing message to his
social media platform addressing what he called his past supporters,
calling them weaklings who have bought into what he calls
a scam and a hoax.

Brian Shook reports, according to a study conducted by Quinnipiac University,
sixty four percent of respondents disapprove of the deportation flights,
while thirty percent said they approve of the practice. The
poll also found that thirty nine percent of voters approved
of the way ICE is enforcing immigration laws, while fifty

States and mental health organizations are bracing for a nine
eight eighths closure, which comes as part of broad spending
cuts and the dismantling of programs dedicated to diversity and
inclusion under the Trump administration. The Trevor Project responds to

has begun fundraising to continue to protect and support LGBTQ

new crisis counselors in anticipation of surges in demand.
