take back nine billion dollars in spending that had already

been approved. Funding cuts are also ending the National Suicide
and Crisis Lifeline for LGBTQ plus youth, which is set
to close today. One person is dead, more than a
dozen others, including children, are recovering from injuries suffered during

Jackson Township. Wednesday night, a group of people were on
the archery range when Jean says, out of nowhere, a
lightning struck.

No rain, there was no thunder, and there was a
lightning strike and it hit this tree. I felt the electricity,
but when I turned around, I could see that there
was at least seven people down.

The lightning strike killed a sixty one year old archery
instructor and left a number of others, including children, with burns.
They were sent to the hospital. Police say none of
the injuries or life threatening.

A Tennessee federal judge won't rule this week on whether
to release Kilmar Abrego Garcia. More from Mark Mayfield.

The judge was also expected to design whether Abrego Garcia
will return to Maryland if he's released from prison while
he awaits human smuggling charges. During Wednesday's court proceedings, the
judge said he's delaying a ruling on Abrego Garcia's legal status,
saying he will rule via a filing next week. The

on suspicion of murdering an American Idol music supervisor and

death inside their home in Encino on Monday. Records show
the suspect, Raymond Boudarian, was charged with misdemeanor battery three
times last year. The charges were eventually dropped after several
hearings related to his mental competency and a conservatorship investigation.
Detectives say the couple's house was well fortified, but Bodarian

got in through an unlocked door. Kay and De Luca
were found dead in separate rooms, both shot multiple times.

Forecasters are warning a tropical flooding along the Gulf Coast.
Flood warnings are being posted from the Florida Panhandle to
south central Louisiana, which could receive over a foot of
rain at a rate of up to three inches per
hour both today and Friday. Real estate investors from China
are the largest group of foreign buyers of residential property

purchased nearly fourteen billion dollars worth of homes in the
US between April twenty twenty four and March of this year.
That's an eighty three percent jump from the previous year.
