The New York City Police Commissioner says the officer who
died in Monday's mass shooting was a hero.

shot in cold blood. Commissioner Jessica Tisch said, Officer Islam
and four other people were killed Monday evening when a
man armed with an M four rifle opened fire in
a midtown Manhattan high rise office building. The officer was
a thirty six year old father of two in expecting
a third child. Suspect died of an apparent self inflicted

Today's vote by the Valdi County Commissioners comes a little
more than three years after the attack at rob Elementary School,
which took the lives of nineteen students and two teachers.
An appeals court previously ruled that both the county and
the school district were improperly withholding public documents. It's expected
to shine a light on police's nearly one hour delay
in storming the classroom. No release date has been set.

Major League Baseball let's put a second Cleveland Guardians player
on leave as part of an investigation into sports betting.

League Baseball told it that no additional players or club

Airlines is doing some more belt tightening, Matt Mattinson explains.

The Florida based discount carrier said Monday it'll furlough two
hundred and seventy pilots this fall as it reduces its
off season schedule to cut costs. The airline will also
downgrade more than one hundred pilots from captain to first officer.
As of October First Spirit has struggled to turn a
profit since it emerged from Chapter eleven bankruptcy in March.
Industry analysts say overall travel demand has been softer than

The suspect in the stabbings Brianna Michigan Walmart over the

the Federal Reserve as it decides whether or not to

most investors are expecting Powell will hold them steady. The

on US interest rate levels on Wednesday. Football legend Dion
Sanders says he was diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier this year.

The University of Colorado coach, made the announcement Monday alongside
his doctor. Sanders had his bladder removed, and his doctors
said he is now cured from the cancer. He said
he knew the surgery was upcoming during the NFL Draft
when his son dealt with the uncertainty of when he

box office. The latest from Marvel Studios earned one hundred
and eighteen million dollars at the domestic box office on
his debut weekend. It raked in another one hundred million
dollars overseas to bring its global launch total to two

opening of DC and Warner Brothers. Superman from earlier this month,
