City that left four people dead believed that he had
a traumatic brain injury. An alleged suicide note found in
his pocket Monday asked for his brain to be studied
for CTE. The brain disease is linked to repeated blows
to the head, often seen in athletes like football players.
Mayor Eric Adams said the suspect was targeting the NFL's
headquarters when he staged the attack, and later died from

US is dealing with sizzling temperatures. A heat dome is
impacting over two dozen states, with millions under some sort
of extreme heat warning or advisory. From Florida to New

Housing prices are starting to cool nationwide. The S and
P core Logic Case Shiller Index shows the seasonally adjusted
price of a home in May rose two point eight
percent from a year ago, slowing from three point four
percent annual gain in April. Analysts say high mortgage rates

and an increasing supply of homes on the market are
slowing the rise of home prices. I'm Chris Karagio. A
new study suggests eggs can help lower cholesterol. That runs
counter to decades old advice to limit egg consumption because
it can raise your risk of heart disease and stroke.
But now a paper published in the American Journal of
Clinical Nutrition adds to the growing evidence that eggs are

actually good for you. Researchers say, while the popular breakfast
food may be high in cholesterol, they're low and saturated fat,
which is believed to be the real driver of cholesterol elevation.
The study suggests that eating eggs as part of a
