City police are investigating a possible associate of the suspect
behind the shooting that left four people dead, including a
police officer.

Mayor Eric Adams says pieces of the semi automatic rifle
used in the killings were bought by an associate of
suspect Shane Timura, and detectives are working to id that person.
Adams called it an evolving investigation. Reports say Timura appeared
to be targeting the NFL headquarters and had a note
claiming he suffered from CTE, a brain disease linked to

I'm Chris Kragio, Jeffrey Epstein associate Gielane Maxwell's request for
immunity in exchange for testimony is being declined by a
House committee. In a letter Tuesday, Maxwell's lawyers said she
would be willing to testify before Congress if she was
given formal immunity. If not, her lawyers said she would
invoke the Fifth Amendment and decline to testify. A magnitude

Nevada Monday is still in critical condition. The shooting left
three people dead and three others injured. It happened outside
the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino Monday morning at the
Valet Area Sparks Police Chief Chris Crawford.

Housing prices in the US are starting to cool. The
SMP core Logic Case Shiller Index shows for May, the
seasonally adjusted price of a home rows two point eight
percent from last year. Analysts say the declining rate of
price increases is due to continued high interest rates, which

Frontier flight from Seattle landed safely in Denver after crew
members discovered two suspicious notes mid flight. Passengers were evacuated
Monday at Denver International Airport. The airline called at a
bomb threat, but law enforcement found nothing concerning. After a

a credible threat. For those living in California, home insurance
rates may be on the way up. Jason Campedonia has

Insurance companies have only been allowed to look at hard
data from past events to set rates, but now the
Department of Insurance is allowing the catastrophe model to evaluate
future risks. That, coupled with the state sustainable insurance strategy,
is said to be responsible for allowing the insurance companies
to stay in business and provide coverage rather than pulling
