Just four minutes. Authorities are working to determine whether the
shooter in Monday's Manhattan attack that left five people dead,
including the gunman, received help. Mayor Eric Adams says pieces
of the semi automatic rifle used in the killings were
bought by an associate of suspect Shane Tomorrow. Reports say

Tamura appeared to be targeting the NFL headquarters.

He was focused on the NFL agency that was located
in the building, and we're going to continue to investigate
without federal platners.

NBC News reports investigators searching Tomorrow's Las Vegas home found
a second note, similar in tone to the one discovered
in New York City. An eight point eight magnitude earthquake
off Russia's Chemchatka Peninsula is leading to tsunami fears for
the West coast, Hawaii, and Alaska. The earthquake occurred about
eighty five miles off the east coast of Russia's Kemchatka Peninsula,

with a depth of nearly twelve miles. It's led to
a tsunami warning for Alaska and Hawaii, as well as
a tsunami advisory for California, Oregon, and Washington. More than
half of Americans disapprove of Israel's military actions in Gaza.

More A new galap pole found only thirty two percent
of respondents approve of Israel's handling of Gaza, which marks
the lowest point recorded since the question was first asked
in November of twenty twenty three. Polling results diverge greatly
along partisan lines, with Democratic support at a low of

The EPA is proposing that a landmark legal opinion on
the effects of greenhouse gases be repealed. The endangerment finding
was released by the agency in two thousand and nine
and concluded that greenhouse gas emissions are a danger to

including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California, are suing

the Trump administration over its efforts to gather sensitive information
about food stamp recipients. Sarah Lee Kessler reports.

The attorneys General, including New York's Letitia James, say the
Agriculture Department is illegally trying to get data on the
forty two million people who receive SNAP benefits, including social
Security numbers, birth dates, and immigration status.

Late metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will be celebrated in his
hometown of Birmingham, England, tomorrow. Osborne died last week, just
weeks after performing a farewell show with his band Black Sabbath.
The seventy six year old singer's body will be carried
on a hearse through the streets alongside a brass band.

Spirit Airlines is doing more belt tightening, Matt Mattinson explains.

The Florida based discount carrier said Monday it'll furlough two
hundred and seventy pilots this fall as it reduces its
off season schedule to cut costs. The airline will also
downgrade more than one hundred pilots from captain to first
officer as of October. First Spirit has struggled to turn
a profit since it emerged from Chapter eleven bankruptcy in March.
Industry analysts say overall travel demand has been softer than

expected this year.

Google is adding AI powered store reviews to its Chrome
browser to help users find the best place to shop.
The new feature can be accessed by clicking an icon
just to the left of the web address in the browser.
Users will see a pop up showing the reputation for
things like product quality, viicing, customer service, and return policies.
