The Trump administration is finalizing reciprocal tariffs on dozens of countries.

The president announced he has given Mexico a ninety day
extension after he spoke with that country's president earlier this week.
Trump refused to offer deadline extensions as he pushes for
countries around the world to agree to trade deals. Deals
so far have been agreed to with the European Union,
the UK, Japan, and South Korea, among others. On Wednesday,
Trump announced a twenty five percent tariff against India with

a penalty due to what he said was them buying
military equipment and energy from Russia. A deal was also
reached with Canada, raising tariffs from twenty five to thirty
five percent.

floods is impacting millions in the mid Atlantic and Northeast.
Flood watches are in place from Virginia to Connecticut, with Washington,

is determined to tackle the problem. She says Trump is
sending out letters to the CEOs of several drug companies

in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The Los
Angeles Chargers crushed the Detroit Lions thirty four to seven

Chargers quarterback Trey Lands completed thirteen of twenty pass attempts
for one hundred and twenty yards and two touchdowns. The preseason,

Construction on a new two hundred million dollar ballroom at
the White House is set to start soon. Spokesperson Caroline
Levitt showed reporters on Thursday renderings of the structure to
be built in the East wing, including Greek columns and
gold encrusted chandeliers. Former Vice President Kamala Harris has a
new memoir on the way. She's reached a deal to
publish one hundred and seven Days and it is set

to be released on September twenty third. The memoir will
be published by Simon and Schuster and recount her experience
during her twenty twenty four presidential campaign. News of the
memoir comes a day after she formally bowed out of
the California governor's race. Over one hundred JC Penny stores
are being sold to a private equity firm for more
than nine hundred million dollars. Matt Mattinson has details.

The deal with Onyx consists of one hundred nineteen stores,
including more than twenty in Texas, and comes five years
after the once popular department store declared bankruptcy. Onyx will
pay nine hundred and forty seven million dollars and the
deal is scheduled to close in September. All one hundred
nineteen Jcpenny stores remain open, and it's unclear what's planned

Fewer people are going to Las Vegas. The Las Vegas
Convention and Visitors Authority says visitation in Southern Nevada fel
for the sixth to eight month in June. It says
over three million people visited in June, which is an
eleven percent decrease compared to June of last year. It
