Federal officials are investigating the former Department of Justice prosecutor
who oversaw cases against President Trump. The US Office of
Special Council announced its investigating Jack Smith for possibly violating
a law that bars federal officials from engaging in political
activity or attempting to influence elections. NBC's Van Hilliard with details.

A manhunt is underway for a suspect after four people
were killed in a Montana bar shooting. Say forty five
year old Michael Brown is considered armed and dangerous, and
they are searching for him near the small Montana town
of Anaconda. Brown is believed to have fled the scene
in a white pickup truck after the shooting at Owl
Bar early Friday. People in southwest Montana are on high
alert as the search continues. Police are looking at surveillance

killing a man during an argument outside of Brooklyn restaurant Friday.

Cops say it happened to round five point thirty in
the evening in downtown Brooklyn. The New York Daily News
Report's thirty two year old Clyde Rix was outside the
Mexican restaurant Guac Time on Jay Street when he was
shot in the torso. Rix was taken to the hospital
but didn't make it. Meantime, it's not clear if the
victim was part of the argument that led to the shooting.

Several Democratic states are suing the Trump administration over its
efforts to limit gender affirming healthcare. The lawsuit targets a
Trump executive order that aims to undermine support for what
the federal government refers to as gender ideology. California Attorney

Perryman has been arrested in Los Angeles on an assault
weapon charge. TMZ reported the thirty two year old NFL
star was arrested by the South Los Angeles Sheriff Station
officers Friday night and booked on a felony charge of
possession of an assault rifle. According to the media outlet,
Perryman was on his way to a gun range when
police searched his car and found two ar rifles and

three handguns in his trunk. Perryman is due in court
on Tuesday. It's said to be his first felony charge.
Jeffrey Epstein associate Keelaine Maxwell has been moved from Florida
to a federal prison in Texas.

role in recruiting and trafficking miners for sex tom Yamas

It comes just a week after the Deputy Attorney General

Ken Paxton's office. Moriarty will receive forty five point eight

payout comes after the agency refused to pay Moriarty, citing
