Republican Majority Leader John Thunne was unable to reach a
bipartisan deal with Democratic Minority leader Chuck Schumer Saturday night
on a package that would have allowed about two dozen

A manhunt continues in Montana for a suspect who killed
four people in a bar shooting. Police say forty five
year old Michael Brown is considered armed and dangerous and
still on the loose near the small mountain town of Anaconda.
Police a Brown fled the scene in a white pickup
truck after the shooting at the Owl Bar early Friday.

Jack Smith, who prosecuted two cases against Trump, one centering
around the allegations that Trump tried to subvert the twenty

Department of Justice shortly before Trump's second inauguration. A federal
appeals court has upheld a decision restricting immigration arrests in
southern California. The court affirming a lower court's decision that
some of the arrests made appear to lack probable cause.

On Friday night, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issue
to ruling to uphold a lower court's temporary order blocking
the Trump administration from conducting immigration enforcement in southern California.
The ruling affirms the order issued last month. I granted
the restraining order requested by immigrant advocates. Los Angeles mayor
Careen Bass said it was a vacery for rule of law.
