Texas House Democrats have vowed to keep fighting Republican efforts
to redraw the state's congressional map. Governor Abbott issued civil
arrest warrants for lawmakers who fled Texas to deny the
chamber quorum. On Monday, over fifty Democrats traveled to Illinois,
New York, and Massachusetts to prevent the GOP from quickly
advancing the maps, aimed at adding up to five seats
ahead of the twenty twenty six midterms. At a press

President Trump says he's hiking tariffs on India over Russian

looking to come into the US could soon have to
pay as much as a fifteen thousand dollars bond in
order to get a visa, as according to multiple reports
citing a note sent to State Department employees on Monday,

be required to pay a five thousand, ten thousand, or
fifteen thousand dollars bond, they'd get their money back if

twelve month pilot program is expected to launch in two weeks.

Tuesday in the GOP probe of the ex president's mental
fitness while in office. Bruce Reid, the former Deputy chief
of Staff or Policy, previously agreed to do a closed
door interview, but it's unknown if he'll plead the fifth
and not answer questions. The probe has been focused on
Biden's mental decline in the use of an auto pen.

Republicans say the autopen use may make some of Biden's
pardons void. Changers are coming for Social Security beneficiaries who
get paper checks. Matta Mattinson explains.

The Social Security Administration announced that starting on September thirtieth,
it would no longer issue paper checks. Now, beneficiaries must
opt to have their benefit payments delivered electronically by direct deposit, or,
if they don't have a bank account, receive their benefit
payments on a prepaid debit card known as direct Express.
An agency spokesperson said the administration is proactively contacting beneficiaries

to alert them about the change, and note that if
a beneficiary has no other means to receive payment, they'll

The acting head of NASA's calling for a nuclear reactor
on the Moon. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent out a
directive saying it's imperative to get it done quickly. Duffy
says a nuclear reactor on the Moon would support a
future lunar economy and strengthen America's national security in space.

reactor on the Moon by the mid twenty thirties and
