again been denied a vote on their congressional redistricting plan
for the second day in a row. The House reconvened
but failed to reach a quorum after more than fifty
Democrats fled the state. The Texas House speakers signed civil
arrest warrants for the absent Democrats, but legal experts say

they're probably not enforceable outside state lines. Millions in the
Southeast are under a floodwatch as rain and thunderstorms hit
the region this week. The same cold front that helped
develop tropical Storm Dexter off the coast of the mid
Atlantic is bringing a separate threat to some Southeastern states
throughout the week, and it could linger into the weekend.
Cities that could be hit with flooding include Atlanta and Tallahassee.
The US Coast Guard has released its final report on

the implosion of the Ocean Gate Titans submersible. Five people
were killed during a voyage to view the wreckage of
the Titanic back in twenty twenty three. The report found
that the company's CEO was warned repeatedly of how dangerous
the submersible was, and threatened anybody who raised concerns while
ignoring all warnings. Jeffrey Epstein associate Glane Maxwell is asking
a federal judge to decline on sealing grand jury transcripts.

Attorneys for Maxwell say she has no choice to oppose
the Trump administration's request because the judge hasn't allowed her
to review the material in question. Maxwell's attorneys argue, whatever
interest the public may have in Epstein, that interest cannot
justify a broad intrusion into grand jury secrecy. In a
case where the defendant is alive, her legal options are

death of metal Iconazzie Osbourne has been revealed. He died

due to a heart attack. The death certificate cites coronary
artery disease and Parkinson's also played a role in his death.

A new Colorado State University study shows children may sleep
less and experience worse sleep quality when their parents are
under increased stress. Researchers found the more stress parents carried
over time, the more it affected their children's rest and
hormone regulation. In some cases, kids began sleeping more to adapt,
though experts say that also comes with negative side effects.

An annual celebration of Taco's tequila will not happen in
New Orleans this year. Top Taco Nola started in twenty
seventeen and has returned every year since then except twenty
twenty because of the pandemic. Organizers say many major liquor
brands last year greatly reduced sponsorship of local events, leaving
