Governor Greg Abbott writing that he's ordered state officials to
quote arrest in return every derelict House Democrat, later asking
Texas rangers to investigate them. The House Speaker issuing civil
arrest warrants for the missing lawmakers.

The more than fifty Democrats fled to Illinois, New York,
and Massachusetts. The arrest warrants apply only within state lines.
House members who stayed in Texas convened the ongoing special session,
but couldn't conduct any business without the required two thirds quorum.
California Central Coast is still dealing with the Gifford Fire.
The blaze has burned more than seventy two thousand acres

burning since Friday afternoon in the Los Padres National Forest
northeast of Santa Maria. Evacuation orders were expanded yesterday as
the fire continues to grow, with at least three people
have been injured as a result of the blaze. Millions

Canadian wildfires. Those in the midwest to the northeast may

in the region are being told to limit outdoor activities.
The suspect who police say killed four people at a
bar in Montana is still on the run. Police a
Army veteran Michael Brown, is armed and extremely dangerous. They
believe that he has since stolen a truck with camping
gear and clothes. The shooting happened in the southwest town

year old has struggled with mental health problems. A quadruple
murder suspect is now in custody in Tennessee. Twenty eight
year old Austin Drummond is accused of killing four people
and abandoning a baby on July twenty ninth in Tiptonville,
about two hundred miles west of Nashville. Found and arrested
this morning in Jackson, about seventy four miles from where

creative with their strategy to protect cattle herds and scare
off predatory wolves. According to The Wall Street Journal, the
Department of Agriculture is using a recording of Scarlett Johansson

brave removal of an alligator from a swimming pool. Body

to capture the alligator with a net before resorting to
using his hands to pull the reptile out of the water.
The incident occurred in Saint Augustine, where residents discovered the

The songwriter Jake Holmes filed a lawsuit back in May,
claiming copyright infringement and a breach of contract. He alleged
that two early live versions of the track were included
on the twenty twenty five documentary Becoming led Zeppelin without
giving him proper credit or compensation. The exact details have
not been made public.
