A convicted murderer has been executed in Tennessee. Sixty nine
year old Byron Black was put to death by lethal
injection at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville. Black
was executed despite concerns by his attorneys that a heart
device could repeatedly shock him. Half dozen media witnesses to

the executions that Brown showed visible signs of distress. Black
murdered his girlfriend, Angela Clay and her two young daughters
in Nashville in nineteen eighty eight. The Browns are expected
