Georgia's Fort Stewart is on lockdown due to an active
shooter situation the army base as multiple casualties have been
reported and the situation is ongoing. Law enforcement officials report
for people have been taken to the hospital and a
suspect has been identified. Fifteen thousand are stationed at the base.
Fort Stewart is located about forty miles southwest of Savannah.

Governor Brian Kemp said he is in close contact with
law enforcement on the ground. President Trump is ramping up
tariffs against India to fifty percent. The President announced today
that he plans to increase tariffs on India over its
purchases of Russian oil, as a twenty five percent reciprocal
tariff is already set to take effect tomorrow. The White
House argues that India's purchase of Russian oil is fueling

Moscow's war efforts in Ukraine. As several high profile figures
face subpoenas and the Jeffrey Epstein Congressional investigation, the White
House is reportedly considering releasing some new documents. NBC's Gabe
Gutierrez has more.

NBC News has learned the Trump administration is considering publicly
releasing transcripts of Gallaine Maxwell's two day interview. According to
a source familiar with the matter, Maxwell spoke with Deputy
Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was also President Trump's former
personal lawyer.

Meantime, the administration is facing questions over Maxwell's transfer from
a Florida prison to a minimum security federal prison in Texas.
President Trump denies any involvement, saying he didn't know anything

FBI directors, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former

any Epstein files in its possession with victims names redacted,
as well as any communications related to the case. President
Trump is said to make an announcement of a one
hundred billion dollar investment from Apple later on today. According
to a White House official, the iPhone maker will invest
in US manufacturing to increase domestic production and avoid ten tariffs.
