have been in a number of conflicts over the past
thirty years. The US Air Force is denying early retirement
to some transgender service members, as according to a report
from Reuters, which says all transgender service members with between
fifteen and eighteen years of service will not be granted
early retirement. Instead, an August fourth memo says they'll have

to choose between quitting or being forced out with no
retirement benefits. Despite this, the Air Force has reportedly approved
early retirement for transgender soldiers with over eighteen years of service.
It comes as the Trump administration continues its efforts to

A Miami federal judges ordered a temporary pause on construction

at the immigration detention facility known as Alligator Alcatraz. Chris

The ruling is a victory for the Mikasuki tribe and
the Friends of the Everglades environmental advocacy group, who are
calling for a shutdown of the facility until an environmental
study can be completed. District Judge Kathleen Williams issued a
temporary order blocking any construction at the site for two
weeks after hearing two days of testimony. The Trump administration
is still able to house the detainees at the facility

run employment benefits last week. The Labor Departments as it
