President Trump is ordering federal law enforcement officers to patrol Washington,
d C. The White House made the announcement Thursday, saying
the effort will start as a week long operation, but
could be extended as needed. The move is led by
the US Park Police. It includes officers and agents from
the FBI, DEAATF and ICE. It comes a day after
Trump said he'd consider taking control of the DC Police

Department after an attack on a former dough staff member.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the FBI is tracking Downhouse
Democrats who left the state to stop a vote on
Republican led redistricting efforts. Abbott made the comment on x
and said they'll be taken directly to the Texas state capital.
Democratic lawmakers fled to various blue states, including Illinois, earlier
this week to block the vote. Some shared skepticism on

whether the FBI has jurisdiction to force the lawmakers to return.
The Texas House is expected to try to establish a
quorum again on Friday, after failing to do so twice
this week. Former co workers say the Fort Stewart shooting
suspect had been bullied over his stutter. Two people who
served with Sergeant Cornelius Radford told NBC News the bullying
started almost as soon as he joined the military. Radford

is accused of opening fire Wednesday morning at the army
base in Georgia, wounding five coworkers. They're all expected to recover.
Former TV superman Dean Kaine says he's joining ICE. Cain
became famous in the nineteen nineties as the star of
Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman. Caine revealed
on Fox News that he's signed up with Immigration and
Customs Enforcement to help carry out the Trump administration's mass

Waters that he's already a sworn deputy sheriff and a
reserve police officer, and he'll be sworn in as an
ICE agent asap. More Americans than expected found themselves filing

ordered a temporary pause on construction at the immigration detention
facility known as Alligator Alcatraz. Chris Carraggio has details.

The ruling is a victory for the Mikasuki tribe and
the Friends of the Everglades environmental advocacy group, who are
calling for a shutdown of the facility until an environmental
study can be completed. District Judge Kathleen Williams issued a
temporary order blocking any construction at the site for two
weeks after hearing two days of testimony. The Trump administration
is still able to house the detainees at the facility

he severely burned his brother during a social media prank.
Lancaster County officials a the twelve year old boiled water
in the microwave, then poured the water on his sleeping
nine year old brother. The child was participating in what's

on someone who's not expecting it. The child is charged

That's the name of the upcoming serious XM channel featuring
wall to wall Metallica. Drummer Lars Ulric announced the news
on The Howard Stern Show. The channel is set to
debut on August the twenty ninth on Channel forty two.
Metallica is going to celebrate the channel's launch the day
before where the club show in the Hamptons. Ulrich told
Stern the show is going to be their normal full
volume show and not an acoustic show. Ulrick mentioned that's
