In just four minutes, the Israeli security cabinets approved a
full military takeover of the Gaza Strip. The office of
Prime Minister Benjamin Nhtnaho says a majority of a security
cabinet backedist proposal early Friday to begin the gradual military
takeover of the Palestinian territory, beginning with Gaza City. A
statement from the Prime Minister says the goal of the

takeover is to achieve a decisive victory over Hamas and
the return of all the hostages. The statement said the
takeover plan would allow for the provision of humanitarian aid
to civilians outside the combat zones. There was no mention
of when the takeover would begin. President Trump is ordering
federal law enforcement officers to patrol Washington, d C. The
White House made the announcement Thursday, saying the effort will

start as a week long operation but could be extended.
The move started at midnight, led by the US park Police.
It includes officers and agents from the FBI, DEA eight,
and ICE. It comes at after Trump said he'd consider
taking control of the DC Police Department after an attack
on a former DOGE staff member. The US Air Force
is denying early retirement to some transgender service members. That's

according to a report firm Reuters, which says all transgender
service members with between fifteen and eighteen years of service
will not be granted early retirement. Instead, an August fourth
memo says they'll have to choose between quitting or being
forced out with no retirement benefits. Despite this, the Air
Force has reportedly approved early retirement for transgender soldiers with
over eighteen years of service. This comes as the Trump

administration continues its efforts to ban transgender people from serving

Reports Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced a fifty million
dollar reward for anyone that can assist in the arrest
of Nicholas Maduro. Bondi is accusing the Venezuelan leader of
being a narco trafficker and says he has been directly
linked to drug smuggling. Maduro's government has denied similar claims

President Trump's directing the Commerce Department to start working on
a new census. The President made the announcement on truth
Social noting that people who are in the country illegally
will not be counted. According to the President's post, the
new census will be based on modern day facts, figures,
and information gain from the presidential election of twenty twenty four.

According to a first of its kind CDC report, about
sixty two percent of kids and teens daily calories come
from ultra processed foods, compared with fifty three percent for adults.
Researchers found the top source of ultra process foods with
sandwiches such as burgers, hot dogs, and peanut butter and jelly,

A Confederate memorial that was removed in twenty twenty three
is being returned to Arlington National Cemetery. It's part of
an effort by the Trump administration to bring back statues
that honor the Confederacy. The Reconciliation Monument features a bronze
statue of a woman standing on a pedestal with several
interpretations linked to the South, including depictions of slavery underneath her.

The monument was initially debuted in nineteen fourteen by Confederate
veteran Moses Ezekiel. It will cost nearly ten million dollars
to restore it and put it back on display. Disney
and Lucasfilm have reached a settlement with actress Gina Carano.
She'd claims she was wrongfully fired from The Mandalorian in
twenty twenty one. She sued in February of twenty twenty four,
allegings she had and let go for voicing conservative views
