House says the meeting will take place with the President
and Russia. President Trump says he will meet with Russian
President Putin next Friday to discuss an end to the
war in Ukraine. In a post on true social Trump

announced the meeting will take place in Alaska. He didn't
say where in the state the meeting will be held,
but said further details will follow. Trump has not said
if Ukrainian President Zelenski will be involved. He says he
believes both countries want peace, but also indicated a deal
might involve the swapping of land between the two. Officials

are confirming the police officer injured in a shooting near
Atlanta's Emory University has died. The university issued an alert
Friday afternoon warning of an active shooter at a CVS
pharmacy on campus. At a press conference Friday night, police
said the shooter is dead. The site where the shooting
took place is near the CDC headquarters, which was reportedly

struck by gunfire. No civilians were injured. The FBI is
firing its former acting director, Bryan Shook has this story.

According to multiple reports, Brian Driscoll, who led the Bureau
at the start of the Trump administration, was asked to
leave by Friday. Driscoll has been viewed as a champion
of the bureau's rank and file staff. After declining to
turn over a list of agents who worked on January
sixth cases, he penned a final note to staff explaining
that he was not given a reason for his removal.

The lawyer for Sean Diddy Combe says he may seek
home confinement for the convicted rap mogul. Combs was found
gilly last month on two prostitution related charges and could
get up to five years in prison when he's sentenced
