The National Guard is being deployed to Washington, d C.
As part of President Trump's crackdown on crimes. Speaking this
morning from the White House, Trump said he'll rescue the
nation's capital, calling today its Liberation Day. Trump added he'll
send in the military if needed. The President went on
to claim crime numbers in DC are worse than places
like Baghdad. At least one person has died and two

others are unaccounted for after an explosion at a US
steel plant in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman drove to
the scene at the US Clareton Coke Works plant in Clareton,
south of Pittsburgh.

Thoughts go to the families. They've lost someone today and
it's just absolutely tragic. I agree for these families.

Dozens have also been injured. It's unclear what led to
the explosion. The plant produces the material coke, which is
used in the making of steel. President Trump is extending
the deadline for tariffs on China to go into effect.
Multiple reports say he signed an executive order just hours
before his pause on the higher tariffs was set to expire.
The executive order pushes back the deadline ninety days until

November ninth. The extension comes after US and Chinese officials
met last month. Had the pause not been extended, tariffs
on Chinese goods would have gone back up to the
high levels scene in April. The Ukraine War takes center
stage for President Trump this week as he prepares for
a summit with Vladimir Putin today at the White House.
Trump also confirmed Ukrainian President Zelenski will not be at

the Alaska summit on Friday, but he may meet with him.
After Trump was noncommittal about the summit leading to a ceasefire,
saying he'll either tell both sides there's going to be
a deal or they can just keep fighting. Trump called
his sit down with Putin a feel out meeting. ESPN
and Fox are joining forces to create a forty dollars
a month streaming bundle. Fox one and ESPN will be

offered together starting October second. Fox one will include sports,
news and entertainment from across Fox's channels, including Fox News,
Fox Sports, and Fox Business. Meantime, ESPN will offer a
wider rats they sports content, including the NFL, NBAWNBA college

its dial up internet service after more than four decades.

Once a staple of the early Internet era, the service,
which connected modems through phone lines, at one time boasted
millions of customers. Even as late as twenty fifteen, AOL
had more than two million dial up customers. Numbers since
dropped to the low thousands. The service will be discontinued
on September thirtieth. The search for the next Airbud is on.

County Fair this past Friday. Owner Shannon Nineman won five
thousand dollars from the contest, which has been running for

Over a half a billion dollars will be up for
grabs in tonight's Powerball drawing. Nobody matched all the numbers
on Saturday, so the estimated jackpot now stands at five
hundred and one million bucks. The cash option on that
works out to nearly two hundred and thirty million. Odds
of walking away with all that money are roughly won
in two hundred and ninety two million. Officials in New
York's Westchester County are looking into a reported shark sighting

in New Rochelle. Swimmers at Glen Island Beach say they
saw a fin in the water yesterday and lifeguards ordered
them back to land as a precaution. Park rangers arrived
at the scene but were not able to confirm if
there was indeed a shark or sharks in the area.
