DC police under federal control and activated the National Guard
as part of his major crackdown on crime. Bowser thinks
Trump's current view on crime in DC is shaped by
rising crime rates during his first term, but she says
it's dropped since then. Bowser said she's cooperating with the
Trump administration, but adds the president's actions are just a

reminder that DC should be granted full statehood. President Trump
is hoping to strike a ceasefire deal with Ladimir Putin
it Friday summit, but in his words, whatever happens happens
today at the White Ouse. Trump also confirmed Ukrainian President
Zelensky will not be at the Alaska summit. Trump said
he will call Zelensky and other European leaders after he
talks with Putin and possibly set up a future meeting

the girl was feeding chickens. She was rushed to a
hospital after being bitten on the arm and is expected
to be okay. The mountain lion was tracked down, shot
