President Trump won't share any possible deals he may have
in mind when he meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin
in Alaska. Trump said, this is the first step.

I think it's going to be a good meeting, but
the more important meeting will be the second meeting that
we're having.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
We're going to have a meeting with President Putin, President
Zelenski myself. Reports have been rampant regarding Russia Ukraine landswaps
and the possibility of the US offering Russia a rare
earth mineral deal if it leads to peace. When asked
at the White House, Trump would only say, we'll see
what happens. The President is set to leave for Alaska

from Washington shortly. Russia is attacking Ukraine overnight ahead of
the meeting with President Trump. Ahead of the summit, the
Ukrainian Air Force says Russia conducted drone and missile strikes
at thirteen locations across the country this morning, and that
Ukraine's air defense systems neutralized sixty three Russian drones. Tropical

storm Erin continues to intensify and is expected to become
the first Atlantic hurricane of the season later today. Rory O'Neil,

Is on the edge of being classified as a hurricane,
and it's expected to reach major hurricane status this weekend,
meeting at least category three with winds topping one hundred
and eleven miles per hour. Those spaghetti models largely agree
that Aarin will make a sharp turn to the north
and east, staying away from the US mainland. The Leeward Islands,
The British and US Virgin Islands can expect heavy rainfall.

Federal authorities worked into the night clearing homeless camps out
of Washington, d C. The New York Times says agents
from the FBI and the Secret Service were out in
the Foggy Bottom neighborhood west of the White House Thursday night,
removing homeless tents. Homeless residents across the district were reportedly
given a day's notice to move their belongings. I'm Michael Kassner,

a man who was reportedly targeted during an ice rate
in Monrovia, California, is dead. Pablo Alvarado of the National
Day Labor Organizing Network says the man who died should
have been protected.

The City of Monrovia says the man was hit by
a vehicle on Thursday morning after running onto the two

Biden administration, which were being sold as scrap. Reached a
settlement where we're taking the wall back, but they stole
