Democrats still refusing to enter the state house. Reports say
Democrats will probably stay in town for a second special session,
which would eventually allow for a vote on the Republican's
redistricting effort. The US is using drones to help catch
people crossing the border illegally. Jack Cronen reports.

Part of an army base near the border in Arizona's
being used to house drone operations. The LA times as
predator drones with high powered radar helping agents track down
people who initially get away. The report says, with fewer
border crossings these days, the drones have more time to
look for people trying to hide, even in small groups.
The Department of Homeland Securities allocated twelve thousand hours of
drone time for border operations so far this year.

New York Attorney General Letitia James and New Jersey AG
Matt Platkin are among a coalition demanding Instagram restrict miners
from using location sharing. James notes the Meta owned Instagram
recently made a change to its platform that allows users,
including miners, to share detailed real time locations on a map.

In a letter to Instagram, James and a coalition of
thirty seven attorneys general assert that the new location sharing
feature creates serious public safety and data privacy concerns. I'm

the White House to defund schools with DEI programs. Tammy

Judge ruled the Trump administration can't cut federal funding to
colleges and other schools that have diversity programs, as it
threatened to do earlier this year. The judge said the
administration didn't follow proper procedure and ruled the plan was unconstitutional,
reasoning that it could infringe on the free speech rights
of educators. The ruling also blocks the administration from enforcing
a letter sent by the Education Department says federal law

New details are coming to light regarding a tsunami and
landslide that struck southeast Alaska last weekend. The Alaska Earthquake
Center says Sunday tsunami traveled at least one hundred feet

as high as fifteen feet by the time the tsunami
