Texas House Republicans have passed a plan to redraw congressional
maps in their favor. The state House reconvened today after

break quorum and delay a vote. Severe weather is coming

Coment is a response to a letter from Attorney General
Piam Bondy that demanded an end to certain immigration policies.
Speaking to reporters, Wu said federal officials who are attacking
communities and a body diversity are wrong in the law
and wrong on safety. Bondi sent the letter last week
that asked for a response that confirms the city's commitment
to complying with federal law and federal immigration enforcement. The

letter was sent to several other cities and states around
the nation that the DOJ has designated as sanctuary jurisdictions.

With the popularity of Leboo Boo dolls, it's inevitable there
are going to be knockoffs. The Consumer Products Safety Commission
is warning that some of those lookalike dolls could pose
a choking hazard. The agency said it has received report

for children to put in their mouths. A kidney disease
is impacting sea lions across California's coast and could be
a risk to dogs and humans.

Tammy Trhio reports leptospirosis spread through infected animal urine, posing
risks to those who frequent beaches. Sea lions often carry
the disease, with outbreaks every three to five years. So
far this year, there have been two hundred reported cases
in sea lions, with the outbreak originating on the Central
Coast and now reaching northern California. So far, no dogs
have died from the disease and a vaccine is available
