The Texas Senate could vote on a congressional redistricting plan
as soon as Thursday. This after Texas House Republicans passed
the plan to redraw congressional maps in their favor. The
state House reconvened Wednesday after protests from Democrats that saw
them leave the state to break quorum and delay a vote.
The new congressional map would create five more Republican leaning
districts and is expected to be approved by the Senate.

Texas Governor Greg Abbots praising the state House for passing
the plan. The governor said in a statement Wednesday evening
he'll sign the bill when it reaches his desk. He
said on x the maps would make his state in
Congress up brighter shade of red. Meanwhile, Democrats in California
say they'll push to redraw their maps to add five
more democratic seats if Texas does the same. Evacuations have

been ordered in North Carolina's outer banks as Hurricane Aaron
moves through the Atlantic Ocean. A state of emergency has
been declared as the storm's outer bands are expected to
bring storms flooding to the region. Tropical storm conditions are
forecast in Virginia starting Thursday. Aaron has maximum sustained winds
of one hundred and ten miles an hour. It is
about three hundred miles southeast of North Carolina. Director of

National Intelligence Tulsey Gabbard is cutting about forty percent of

Gavnor announced a reorganization of her office on Wednesday, an
initiative that was dubbed OD and I two point zero.
The restructuring will reassign various roles and eliminate some altogether.
The move aims to save seven hundred million dollars per year.

an exhibition boxing match in Atlanta. The way, class and
number of rounds have not been determined. Davis is the
current WBA lightweight champion, which has fought at between one

known as Designer x Annax, is often bought online by
teens and young adults from phony pharmacies and is blamed

banned the drug, with Governor Bisher now leading the charge
to get the DEA to take emergency action to ban

movie based on the long running comic book franchise. It's
said to be produced by Spider Verse producers Bill Lord

in the CW show Riverdale and Netflix Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

McDonald's is planning to slash combo meal prices. The Wall
Street Journal reports at eight of the chain's popular combo
meals are expected to cost fifteen percent less than if
the items were bought separately. The price change takes effect
next month. The company plans to subsidize franchise's losses if
they agree to drop the prices. McDonald's is looking to
