Old Assembly approved a measure Thursday that calls for a
special election aiming to redraw state maps that would most
likely give Democrats five additional House seats. California lawmakers are

set to finalize and approve the maps. On Monday, President
Trump's hefty penalty in his New York civil fraud cases
being tossed by an appeals court. Kristin Marx reports.

The case accused Trump of lying on financial statements to lenders.
He had been ordered to pay three hundred and fifty
five million in penalties, which had grown to more than
five hundred million with interest. The appeals court said the
penalty as an excessive fine that violates the Eighth Amendment
of the United States Constitution. The White House said it's
another field skirmish and the discredited lawfare campaign against Trump.

Brian Shook. Three US warships are headed to Venezuela in
an effort to crack down on drug cartels. Reports first
emerged Wednesday that the USS San Antonio, the USS Ewojima,

and the USS Fort Lauderdale have been deployed to the
Venezuelan coast with forty five hundred service members and could
arrive as early as Sunday to curb drug trafficking by
crime cartels. A judge is ordering the Encino double murder
suspect to mental health court. Daniel Martindale reports.

Raymond Boudarian appeared in court on Wednesday. On July tenth,
he allegedly broken to the home of American Idol music
supervisor Robin Kay and her husband Thomas de Luca, and
shot them to death with their own gun. He is
facing two counts of murder and one counts of residential
burglary with special circumstances. Boudarian was not arraigned and was
instead ordered to mental health court on September. Three witnesses

in the courtroom say he was staring off during the

The Virginia Department of Health says another confirmed case of
measles has been detected at Dulles International Airport, Rosia Rivera
has more.

The VDH says someone with the measles traveled through Dulles
on August twelve. They say the out of state person
was confirmed to have been in the main Terminal TSA
security checkpoint and Concourse B between one and five pm.
Anyone in those same areas has been potentially exposed and
hell The officials worn to watch for symptoms that usually
start seven to fourteen days after exposure. This is the
fourth confirmed case of measles to hit the state this year.

Shaquille O'Neil is accepting a challenge to fight Will Smith's
former bodyguard Charles Charlie mack Alston in the boxing ring.
Alston challenged the NBA legend to the bout on Instagram,
explaining the two first had an issue when O'Neil tried
to cut in an autograph line and Alston had to
