and Virginia coastlines as the eye of Erin passes two
hundred miles Offshore swimmers and surfers are advised to stay
out of the water as Erin starts to pull away
from the US mainland. High surf and dangerous rip currents
are expected in coastal New England into the weekend as

The category two hurricane as maximum sustained winds of over
one hundred miles an hour. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is
praising Republican lawmakers for passing a plan to redraw congressional.

In a statement last night, Abbots head he'll sign the

Services are asking Robert F. Kennedy Junior to stop spreading misinformation.
Over seven hundred and fifty employees signed a letter that

was sent to the HHS Secretary Wednesday morning that claimed
a recent shooting at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta was
driven by Kennedy's rhetoric. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyaho has
directed the military to shorten its timeline for the seizure
of Gaza City.

Blake Sifton reports preliminary operations in the Gaza City neighborhood
of Zaytun and the nearby city of Jibalia that began
in recent days continue with residents reporting heavy shelling. The
Israeli militaries says they are now in control of Gaza
City's outskirts. Meanwhile, Israeli media reporting that the government have
decided not to respond to the ceasefire proposal put forth

by mediators and accepted by Hamas, and not planned to
send negotiators to Qatar or Egypt to take part in
any talks.

I'm Michael Cassner, Los Angeles County District attorney Nathan Hawkman
continues to fight against the Menendez brothers push to be
released from prison. Daniel Martindale with more.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Hawkman put out a statement on Wednesday ahead of the
Menendez brothers long awaited parole hearing that begins today. He
says they have never fully accepted responsibility for the horrific
murders of their parents. The statement goes on to say
they have continued to promote a false narrative of self
defense that was rejected by the jury decades ago. Hawkman
argues that Eric and Lyle Menendez have not shown they've

been fully rehabilitated and continue to pose a risk to society.

The Virginia Department at hell says another confirmed case of
measles has been detected at Dulles International Airport in the
Washington DC area Rossio Rivero. It details.

The VDH says someone with the measles traveled through Dulles
on August twelve. They say the out of state person
was confirmed to have been in the main Terminal TSA
security checkpoint and Concourse B between one and five pm.
Anyone in those same areas has been potentially exposed and
all the officials worn to watch for symptoms that usually
start seven to fourteen days after exposure. This is the
fourth confirmed case of measles to hit the state this year.
