The latest use this hour in just four minutes. This morning,
the FBI conducted raids at former Trump National security advisor
John Bolton's Maryland home and office. Authorities were reportedly looking
for classified records. Bolton, who became a strong critic of
President Trump after he left the administration in twenty nineteen,

had previously been accused of leaking classified material, but an
investigation didn't go anywhere. Stocks are getting a major boost
today from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell suggesting interest rates
are coming soon. The Dow Jones industrial average has been
up over nine hundred points at times today. The Texas
Senate is voting today on plans to redraw the state's
congressional boundaries. State Senator Phil King warned his fellow lawmakers

that it's going to be a long day. Courts take
pages and pages just to talk about some of the
definitions that apply to redistricting. He says the goal is
to elect more Republicans to Congress, and the new maps
are on and away, he says, to be more GOP friendly,
but he warns it's not a done deal. That he
says is up to the voters. Meantime, in a counter

move to what Republicans are doing in Texas, Democrats in
California are moving forward with their own redistricting efforts. Governor
Gavenusoon signed the measure yesterday that calls for his special
election aiming to redraw state maps that would most likely
give Democrats five additional House seats. The state wide vote
will be held in November. Hurricane Aaron continues to move
away from the US, but dangerous waves and rip currents

are still a concern along the eastern Seaboard. NBC's Aaron
McLaughlin reports from New Jersey, where high tides pushed water
into coastal areas, including Margate.

Fire officials say overnight they rescued at least fifty people
stuck in rising waters, and then farther south beach towns
also inundated in Maryland and Delaware.

Anthology twenty twenty five features a near four hundred page book,
another episode added to the original nineteen ninety five eight
part TV series, and an additional disc to go with

for the twelve LP and eight CD box sets is
November twenty first, a month after the October fourteenth release
of the book. Two for one deals are available today

Cinema United and the Cinema Foundation are teaming up to
ring two for one concessions and additional discounts to movie theaters.
It's all part of an inaugural events by Fendango called
Date Night at the Movies. According to the chair of
the Cinema Foundation, the one night only event is all
about enjoying the big screen with somebody special.

A new study finds fewer Americans picking up a good
book every day just for fun. Researchers looked at stats
submitted by more than two hundred and thirty thousand Americans
fifteen and older from two thousand and three to twenty
twenty three. Here's what they found. Daily reading for pleasure
has dropped some forty percent over the past twenty years.
The decline was even greater among Black Americans, and when
it came to reading to kids, the study found just

two percent of adults reporting that they did so on
a daily basis. The cost of Apple TV Plus is
going up. The streaming service will now cost thirteen dollars
per month, after previously costing ten bucks a month. The
new price went into effect yesterday for new subscribers, while
existing customers we'll see the price hike over the next
thirty days. Apple TV Plus is the only major streaming
service without a cheaper ad supported option. The semifinals of
