legislation to increase the House GOP majority ahead of the
midterm elections. Kilmar Abrego Garcia could soon be deported after
being released from a Tennessee jail. Attorneys for the famous
immigrant were notified Friday that he could be deported to
Uganda as soon as next week, even as he awaits

trial on human smuggling charges. After his release yesterday, his
lawyer said Abrego Garcia was on his way to Maryland
to reunite with his family. He was originally deported earlier
this year and what the White House said was an
administrative mistake, but then they later claimed he was a
member of a crime gang. The Abrago Garcia case has
become a flashpoint for President Trump's immigration policies. Louisiana official

sale of fire at a manufacturing plant continues to burn today,
and a mandatory evacuation order within a one mile radius
of the facility remains in place following a powerful explosion
on Friday. Officials said as of today, forty two people
are in shelter. No injuries were reported, but Louisiana State
Police urged people nearby to remain inside and avoid contact

The governor is seeking to secure Democratic congressional seats before
the mid term elections, and a new poll from the
University of California Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies found forty
eight percent of voters were in favor of the move.
Surveyors also found that thirty two percent of respondents were
against it, and about twenty percent say they were undecided.
The vote on the measure is scheduled to take place

Plan Parenthood is suing South Carolina over its medicaid funding ban.
The lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of Governor Henry McMaster's order
blocking medicaid funding from clinics Bland Parenthood. South Atlantic is
asking a federal judge to block the policy and allow
it to receive the funding. A recent Supreme Court decision
