The next city to see National Guard troops to fight
crime could be the Windy City. The governor of Illinois
is now condemning a report that President Trump is planning
to send federal troops to Chicago. The Washington Post reported
Saturday that the Pentagon has been planning a military deployment
to Chicago for weeks, and that a few thousand National

Guard members could arrive as soon as next month. Illinois
Governor JB. Pritzker responded with the statement saying that Trump
is quote attempting to manufacture a crisis and politicize Americans
who serve in uniform to distract from the pain he's
causing working families. One person is dead and four others

are wounded following a shooting during a basketball tournament in

old man were struck in the chest and later pronounced dead.

sex offender Kalise Crowder was arrested again after sniffing a
woman's behind at a Walgreens in Burbank around eleven pm
Friday night. Police said they located Crowder nearby and took
him into custody without incident. He was arrested a month
ago for committing similar acts at a Nordstrom rack in Burbank.

Crowder is currently on active parole and has a documented
