National Guard troops deployed in Washington, d C. Are now
authorized to carry firearms. While President Trump considers expending what
he calls his crackdown on crime. More from Rory O'Neil.

On social media this weekend, President Trump said that Maryland
Governor Wes Moore's record on crime is quote a very
bad one, and he may have to send troops there too.
The President has also suggested sending troops to Chicago to
combat crime, but it's unclear if he has that authority
outside of Washington, d C. I'm Rory O'Neil.

Lockdowns and evacuations unfolded Sunday after unconfirmed active shooter reports
at the University of South Carolina and a hoax at Villanova. University.
USC issued his shelter in place alert for its Columbia
campus after six thirty pm Eastern, urging students to evacuate
or barricade, but officials late confirmed no shooter was found.

At Villanova, a second false report in a week temporarily
disrupted campus activity. Russia's foreign minister says there is no
meeting plan between President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenski.

while Russia is prepared to meet, a major obstacle remains.

Park Service says the North Rim the Grand Canyon National
Park will remain closed for the rest of the twenty

The closure follows the Dragon Bravo wildfire, which damaged or
destroyed about seventy structures in July. The historic Grand Canyon Lodge,
the North Rim Visitor Center, and many guest cabins burned
to the ground. Visitor services along the North Rim are closed,
but the South Rim remains open. Planning is now underway
to rebuild visitor facilities, including the Grand Canyon Lodge.

The producers of the show are calling it a class
reunion to raise money for a cancer nonprofit and to
