Monday mark twelve days since a murder has happened in Washington,
d C. Following President Trump's deployment of federal troops to
the city. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller
praised the efforts on Fox News Monday. President Trump has

DC Police Union is touting an overall drop in crime
since the arrival of the National Guard compared to the
fourteen days prior to the federal control. It says robbery's
down forty two percent, in violent crime down twenty five percent.

The President says he's removing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook
from her position. Trump said on Truth their sufficient reason
to believe Cook made false statements on one or more
mortgage agreements. The Post went on to say than in
light of what Trump called Cook's deceit full and potentially
criminal conduct in a financial matter, he has no confidence
in her integrity. Cook said in a statement last week

down and that she's done nothing wrong. Parts of the
Southwest are bracing four flooding as heavy rains expected to
push through the area this week. Forecasts indicate a surge
of monsoonal moisture will push westward after a ridge of

Thunderstorms and may become more widespread across the Southwest due

units last month. Industry analysts say it's another sign the
housing market is struggling as mortgage rates remain high. The
average sales price of new houses sold in July was
just over four hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars. New
home data is seen as an indicator of the broader economy.

There might be a connection between popular weight loss drugs
and a reduced risk of cancer. A study published in
Jama Oncology over the use of glp IE drugs like
ozepic and wegovi showed the risk for overall cancer dropped
seventeen percent. In fact, the risk of some cancers dropped
even more, with the risk of ovarian cancer going down
forty seven percent. Researchers made clear the study does not

distinguish if the reduced risk was due to the drug
or the actual weight loss. Kevin O'Leary says he's behind
the thirteen million dollar bid for the Bryant Jordan card

A new survey from a retirement services provider shows Americans
are not all that realistic when it comes to financial
milestones and Power asked nearly one thousand Americans to set
target ages for six life milestones retirement, saving, landing a
dream job, earning six figures, buying a home, becoming debt free,
and retiring. Almost half of those surveyed wished they'd begun

saving sooner, while nearly one quarter said they felt behind
in reaching money milestones. Many other said they have no
