after burning an American flag near the White House. Michael

He was arrested by US Park Police on Monday night
in Lafayette Square, across from the White House. A video
posted online showed the man saying that he was a
combat veteran who was burning the flag in protest of
an executive order from President Trump. President signed an order
on Monday ordering a crackdown on flag burning. The man
was reportedly charged with a law that bans lighting fires

in a public park. The Supreme Court has twice affirmed
that burning the American flag as a form of political
protest is protected by the First Amendment. I'm Michael Cassner.

The California High Speed Rail Authority has revealed updated plans
for its rail lines set to connect major population centers.
