The Defense Department is being ordered by President Trump to
establish special National Guard units specifically trained to deal with
public order issues. Monday's executive order comes as Trump continues
to talk up the possibility of using the military to
enforce law and order in American cities, namely Chicago and Baltimore.

He's already done so in Washington, d C. President Trump
says he is removing a member of the Federal Reserve
after allegations of mortgage fraud. Rory O'Neill reports.

President Trump is saying you're fired to a member of
the Federal Reserve Board who has been accused of falsifying
mortgage documents. But Governor Lisa Cook has not been criminally
charged or convicted and says the President has no cause
to dismiss her and she won't leave. President Trump has
accused the FED too slowly to cut interest rates. Cook

The Republican led House Oversight Committee is issuing a new
subpoena for documents held by the estate of the late
sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Brian Shook with more.

The Committee is moving ahead with its probe into the
disgraced financier, with a request for his will and he
documents resembling a client list, any black books containing Epstein's contacts,
flight logs, and an alleged book of birthday letters from
Epstein's friends. According to a letter from Committee Chair James Comer,
the Epstein estate is ready and willing to provide these documents.

Severe weather led to ground stops at a number of
airports out west on Monday. They included Los Angeles International
Airport and Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport, which was right in
the path of a massive dust storm that rolled through
the area when gus reached seventy miles per hour at
the airport, where part of one terminal's roof was damaged.

reacting to President Trump's executive order that threatens to withhold
federal funding to cities and states that don't end cashless bail.

Rapper Lil na's X is officially facing four felony count
charges following his viral early morning stroll down Ventura Boulevard
in Los Angeles. Daniel Martindale with more I got the

On Monday, the Grammy Award winning artist pleaded not guilty
to all of those charges. Lil Nazex, whose real name
is Montero Lamar Hill, is accused of assaulting LAPD officers
as they tried to arrest him in Studio City last
Thursday morning. Prosecutors say he injured at least three of
the officers. A video taken by a witness before the
arrest shows Hill strutting down the street and only his
underwear and cowboy boots while singing and dancing. He could

face up to five years in state prison if he's

Sales of new single family homes slowed more than expected
in July. Matt Mattinson with more.

Government figure show new home sales fell to a seasonally
adjusted annual rate of six hundred and fifty two thousand
units last month. Industry analysts say it's another sign the
housing market is struggling as mortgage rates remain high. The
average sales price of new houses sold in July was
just over four hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars. New
home data is seen as an indicator of the broader economy.
