White House today, President Trump is holding his seventh Cabinet
meeting of his second term. It comes as the President
said he would remove a Federal Reserve governor, Lisa Cook,
from her role. It also comes as the administration has

been ramping up its crime crackdown in the nation's capital. Now,
the administration is looking to expand the use of National
Guard members in other cities. NBC's Gab Goudiera's reports.

The President also testing his executive power yesterday in his
fight with Democratic leaders of multiple states, signing an executive
order that would create new specialized National Guard units to
be deployed in cities for police work.

sent out to students at schools like the University of Arkansas,

of Hurricane Katrina is Friday. It made landfall on the
US Gulf Coast on August twenty nine, two thousand and five.
Katrina remains one of the most devastating natural disasters in

of the country is bracing for flooding as heavy rain
is expected to move through the area this week.

Forecasts indicate a surge of monsoonal moisture will push westward
after a ridge of high pressure shifted toward the central
Planes over the weekend. Thunderstorms may become more widespread across
