Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Hook is challenging her removal
by President Trump. According to an attorney for Cook, Trump
has no authority to remove her, and the firing laxany
factual or legal basis. Cook's removal follows a Justice Department
criminal investigation after she was accused of making false statements
on home mortgage applications towards she denies. If Cook does soothe,

the case could end up being decided by the Supreme Court.
State and local leaders in Illinois say President Trump should
keep the National Guard out of Chicago. Democratic Governor J. B.
Prisker says there's no reason to send troops to the
city to fight crime, calling the move unconstitutional and Unamerican.

The governor also urged residents to protest peacefully if troops
are deployed. Disney is suing Dish Network over several new
packages being offered by TV. Mark Mayfield reports.

The Internet TV service recently introduced passes that allow customers
to pay for a week, weekend, or even a single
day of live TV Disney is now suing Dish Network,
which owns Slang, claiming this violates Disney's programming distribution agreements.
Sling customers are currently able to watch a Disney and
ESPN programming through monthly subscription plans, and Disney claims any

A judge has ruled Utah's congressional maps must be redrawn
for the twenty twenty six mid term elections. Judge Diana
Gibson ruled the Utah legislature violated voters' rights by bypassing
the independent redistricting Commission established by voters. The judge also
ruled lawmakers droom maps that unlawfully favored Republicans. The legislature
now has until September twenty fourth to redraw districting lines.

The father of Travis Kelsey is giving some insight into
his son's engagement to Taylor Swift. Ed Kelsey told Cleveland
news station WEWS that the pair was actually engaged nearly
two weeks ago at a garden in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

set to announce the causes of autism by September. Brian

Kennedy has previously vowed to find the cause of growing
rates of autism, calling it an epidemic that dwarfs the
covid epidemic. The HHS secretary discussed his intentions to reveal
the causes of autism during a cabinet meeting held by
President Trump on Tuesday. Kennedy has long claimed that environmental
factors or vaccines are likely culprits behind the rising rate

States could lose federal funding if they don't enforce English
language tests for truck drivers. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced
the crackdown Tuesday. The move comes after an Indian immigrant
truck driver was charged with killing three people in a
crash in Florida after making an illegal U turn. Duffy
targeted California, Washington State, and New Mexico during his announcement
that driver had been granted commercial driver's licenses in California

and Washington State. A man from New Mexico's recovering after
being discharged from the hospital with the plague. Chris Caragio

According to the New Mexico Department of Health, the forty
three year old man from Valencia County was hospitalized with
the condition, marking the state's first human case this year.
Health officials believe the patient may have been exposed while
camping in Rio Ariba County, but additional details have not
yet been provided at this time. The CDC says the
plague is treatable with commonly available antibiotics, and the chances

General Motors is recalling over twenty three thousand Chevrolet Corvettes.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the cars were
recalled because of a fuel leak issue that increases the
risk of a fire during refueling. The recall effects Corvette
models from twenty twenty three to twenty twenty five. NITZA
says roughly point one percent of the cars recalled have
