President Trump is repeating his vow to clean up Chicago.
Speaking to reporters on the White House lawn Sunday, Trump
called it fake news when asked if we're going to

US Open. Japanese Prime Minister Shageru Ishiba is stepping down

Aeshiba announced his resignation at a news conference today. He
said he only planned to hold office until he was
able to accomplish what needed to be done. He also
said he'll stay in power until a successor is chosen
during an emergency meeting of his Liberal Democratic Party. This
comes just days after President Trump signed an executive order

Bessant is brushing off concerns following a less than desirable
jobs report. Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Besson said
the President's policies will see the country through.

The report showed just twenty two thousand new jobs added

three point five billion dollar penalty in a major antitrust
case centered on the search giant's advertising technology business. The
President complained in a post on truth Social that Europe
was effectively taking money that would otherwise go to American

The Justice Department has asked a federal judge overseeing the
Jeffrey Epstein case to deny a request from NBC News
to unseal the names of two associates who received large
payments from Epstein in twenty eighteen. Here's more from Jim Forbes.

Court documents show the Justice Department cited privacy concerns as
the reason for not making their names public. One of
them received a one hundred thousand dollars payment from Epstein,
and the second person got a two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars payment in twenty eighteen from the late sex trafficker.
The payments were made after The Miami Herald published a
series of investigative stories where victims criticized the plea deal

he received in Florida back in two thousand and eight.
As part of the plea agreement, federal prosecutors in Florida
agreed not to prosecute the two former Epstein Associates.

Republican candidate for governor Steve Hilton has filed a federal
lawsuit to stop a proposed redistricting effort in California. To
stop this illegal and unconstitutional scheme, the suit argues that
Proposition fifty violates several laws, including voter equal protection. The
congressional redistricting plan is pushed by Gavin Newsom. He said

the goal is to counteract Texas's Republican favoring districting. Both
sides are running TV ads with mailers soon to follow.
