use can dramatically impact a person's long term health. They
also found people using weed to self medicate tend to
use more than those using recreationally. A global study of
over one hundred thousand young people says owning a smartphone

before the age of thirteen is tied to poor mental
health in early adulthood. The study recently published in the
Journal of Human Development found that eighteen to twenty four
year olds who had their first smartphone at age twelve
or younger were more likely to report suicidal thoughts, aggression,
detachment from reality, poor emotional regulation, and low self worth.
