Researchers reported at an American Heart Association meeting in Baltimore
that deaths from high blood pressure related kidney disease increased
by almost half in the US. The study results showed
the highest death rates were among Black Americans, followed by Hispanics.
The studies researcher said, despite national efforts to reduce health inequalities,

black individuals still had over three times the death rate
compared to other groups of people. Federal health official say
a salmonella outbreak linked to a brand of home delivery
meals has made over a dozen people sick and hospitalized

company during the week of July twenty eighth. The Centers
for Disease Control says the ten states where people were
sickened by the meals include California, Missouri, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois,
and Wisconsin. The agency says Metabolic Meals is working with
investigators and has reached out to customers directly who bought
